Pursuant to the power vested in it under Articles 14(1), 15(4/b-d & f/), Articles 5(4), 24(2), 26(3), 27(2), 31(1), 32(2), 33(1)(a), Articles 23 and Article 64(2) of Proclamation No. 746/2012 as amended by Proclamation NO.1163/2019 and in line with relevant articles of Proclamation No. 1183/2020, a Proclamation to Provide for Federal Administrative Procedure, the National Bank of Ethiopia has drafted and posted the following directives:

1. INSURANCE CORPORATE GOVERNANCE,
2. VALUATION OF INSURANCE LIABILITIES,
3. FINANCIAL REPORTING AND RELATED MATTERS, and
4. INSURANCE RISK BASED CAPITAL.

Accordingly, the National Bank of Ethiopia hereby invite any interested/concerned person/s to comment on the draft directives within 30 days commencing from the date on which this notice is posted on its website and send the feedback at wkelemie@yahoo.com or via the Post Office to Insurance Supervision Directorate at the P.O. Box No. 5550.
