The National Bank of Ethiopia hosted a meeting of the African Banking Supervision Application (BSA) Executive Committee and Stakeholders from October 23 to 25, 2023.
BSA is a system developed by a Pan-African consortium of central banks, including the NBE, to automate the supervisory functions of financial regulators.
Governor of NBE underlined the need for pan-African collaboration of central banks to ensure financial sector growth and stability. The event attracted participants from 10 African countries.
