Ambassador Roland Kobia, Head of the EU Delegation to Ethiopia, and members of the European Chamber in Ethiopia held discussions today with The National Bank of. Ethiopia. The talks covered recent monetary policy, banking sector issues, and Ethiopia’s investment climate conditions.
The Governor reiterated NBE’s commitment to restoring price stability and to addressing important reforms needed in the banking and investments environments.
The Governor noted that such foundational reforms will be supportive of the full range of investors (both foreign and domestic) engaged in job-creating and foreign exchange generating activities across multiple sectors.
